Todd Snyder x Seavees Sneakers: Things I Want

Todd Snyder is on a roll... each of his collections is better than the last, he had a collab at the Gap last year (creating the only pair of cargo pants I'd be willing to wear), and an upcoming partnership with athletic wear brand Champion.

So it's not a surprise that I want his latest release -- sneakers, produced with Seavees. The low sneaker (below) is covered in gray jersey, and I'm obsessed with the thick leather laces.

Evoking a bout in the boxing ring, I can easily see wearing these with khakis on a casual Friday, or for a ride in the park. Very cool -- and limited edition, so snatch them up now!

Fashion Dream Team Tees: Things I Love

Just this morning I came across a line of tees with the names of designers and the year they were born on the back, made to look like a sports jersey. From Les Plus Dores, it is the "dream team of fashion". Included are McQueen (RIP), Dolce, Simons, and others... but my personal favorite is Tisci!

I am such a fan of the Givenchy designer and definitely want to rock this out... get over to Hypebeast for more info and a full list of available names.

Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen Spring 2013: NYFW Review

Yesterday I was able to catch the presentation of Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen -- which always brings a street-ready youthful collection. Spring 2013 was no different: cool prints, cotton varsity jackets, camo pants, and a band rockin' out in the corner.

One of my favorite looks was this two-tone sweatshirt, with matching shorts. It tied nicely into Cohen's inspiration of "streetwear's athletic influence". Definitely a weekend look for me, but I liked the marled nature of the fabric offset by the solid colored arms.

The second standout was the cotton varsity jacket, shown in both the navy/red colorway below and a navy/grey.

Another consistent showing from Micah Cohen and looking forward to picking up some of these pieces come Spring.
