Anchor Print Foulard from Officine Generale: Things I Want

I have a well documented obsession for anything that has an anchor on it. Shorts, ties, sweatshirts, bracelets, tattoos the list goes on. And so it was only natural that this white and blue silk foulard from Officine Generale spoke to me.

Being carried at Unionmade the line evokes everything a francophile like myself loves -- but the nautical inspired scarf tops the list. #anchorsaway

Mensthreads Fashion Collage by JustJr: Things I Love

A while I ago I came across a site that was doing brilliant fashion collages. I shared it with some of our designers at work, who were also awed and inspired by the creativity + connectivity of these pieces.

Well recently JustJr did a collage inspired by this blog, mensthreads! I can't even describe what an honor it is, to be referenced in this way by someone whose work you admire....

And Jamie at JustJr knows me so well because he included Nick Wooster, a bowtie, some Black Fleece (hi Thom Browne!), and a nod to France. I love it!

You have to check out the rest of his work here.

Leather Espadrilles: Things I Have

Okay so it may be cold and rainy in Paris, but I now cannot wait for summer. I just bought some leather espadrilles!

Two summers ago, in the South of France, I bought a pair of espadrilles for 5 EUR. I've worn them constantly since then and as a result have worn them out. So I knew I'd need to pick up a new pair before warm weather arrives...

Then today I was walking through the Marais and saw a shoe repair shop with espadrilles stacked in the window. I went in and of course bought a new pair of canvas ones, but they also had some in leather.

They are amazing! Can't wait to rock them out on the beach!
